Hi! I'm Kiran Bammarito. I work in progressive data and analytics and sometimes at the intersection of progressive advocacy and communications. Outside of work, you can find me cooking, bouldering, crafting and exploring DC.
I work with data from organizing campaigns, voter files and other large (often political) datasets with millions of records. My programming languages of choice are Python and SQL.
My background is in communications, running campaigns on behalf of governments, non-profits and foundations. In particular, I focus on social marketing (behavior change) and health campaigns.
I speak three languages and have lived, traveled and met people throughout the world. I've advised various groups about intersectional diversity and inclusion issues, including nationality, race, ethnicity, language translations and accessibility (to a range of needs). I also co-lead a group that focuses on diversity and inclusion within the data and analytics community.
